actually there is three and it suppose to keep the decission a more fair one

There are actually more parties but two major ones that aren't too different at closer examination as both are controlled by Corporate America to a large extent. Please look at a third "grass roots" party that focuses on issues pertaining to humanity and concepts focused on the rights of the people. Local groups working on the local levels will often gain you more "voice" than either the Dems or Reps.

This provides for two ways of looking at an issue, also the minority group can be the "loyal opposition" to the majority. If we have more than 2 parties - then we are on the road to minority rule. Do the math! It would not be wise to allow that to happen.

There is only one party that may use two or more names but it is "The money Party" in USA! The Republic of Fascist Capitalism. You can stick a whole bunch of names Oligarchy,Plutocracy, Imperialism etc etc makes NO difference you got a wealthy ruling class as puppet masters having everything their way!

because the two current ruling parties are also in control over election laws and who gets matching funds and who is required to be allowed into debates.

plain and simple, neither of the current ruling parties are mentioned in the constitution and hang on due to corrupt tactics that exclude most americans from having a real voice or choice in elections...

There are two parties instead of one to create the illusion that we have a real meaningful choice, and there are two parties instead of three or more to prevent there from actually being any meaningful choice.
