Well, I learn new things everyday. I guess the most recent one that stands out, is to "Guard your thoughts. If every single memory we have ever experienced is actually stored in our subconscious, even if we cannot recall all of them, thoughts are as well. You can't take back a thought, it will stay in the depths of your mind forever, either benefiting us, or harming us subconsciously." All the more reason to minimize your negative thinking as much as possible. A wise friend told me that the other day.

Although appearance is undeniably a factor in relationships
( and pushed to the edge of the envelope by hollyweird ) ,
Behavior and character are More Powerful .
I realized this after watching an actor play the part of a good person / leader .
I later learned that he had played the part of an evil / mean person & I had seen it . Because of the characters negative behaviors , I had promtly forgotten him after the movie , I had erased him from memory .
The person playing the desirabe character was the identical person (appearance wise) to the evil person .
At the end of the day , character and behavior were much more powerful regarding attraction , than the physical .
Note: I have learned other things that are more significant but your question was about the "last" thing and life has been a bit slow lately !
But excellent question and am totally loving the answers .
The not - so - lame people stopped by for you !

The last thing I learned, to give love a try. I had always shyed away from it, concerned that I would get hurt, but my fiancee is so loving and the best person I ever met. So, if your nervous, give it a try, you may end up meeting the love of your life.

That what you see today in someone, might not be there tomorrow. Friends today, might not be there tomorrow. I have hence been learning to purely be in the moment, without any *expectations* of how tomorrow might be with that person. This moment is reality. That is all.
Learned it as I see people changing. It affected me more because I had "expectations". Now I try to never expect anything, even from a good friend.

That we create our own reality each and every moment of our lives. That my reality is an actualization of my thoughts and that I am 100% responsible for creating it exactly the way it is, and that I can change it in the same way.
I learned this by studying various people such as Neale Donald Walsch, Jane Roberts, Esther & Jerry Hicks, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra and many other teachers who talk of the interconnectedness of all things and the law of attraction.

Not to stress about things. To stress is incredibly useless at most times(sometimes it`s supposedly good for you. Who`d thought..?) and entirely too troublesome. If you can`t do anything, don`t stress about it and if you can, then just do it.
I learned it after our class suddenly got swamped in tests and home works. I also would have learned that teachers are sadistic, if I didn`t already know that already.

About being grateful to everything...I read the newspaper the other day and went thru this article about this young boy (11 years old) who committed suicide due to poverty. It was really sad. Soon I realised that life is short and I should be thankful to everything at the end of day because I am still be able to enjoy life as much as I can.

The last thing?
I learn something every minute of everyday.
And if not something 'new'; then something clarifying, or building on what I have previously learned
Or something that helps to better explain that ‘something’ i have previously learned.
The most recent is: Plant the seeds early, and nurture, appreciate, and encourage them as they grow... Fruition is a beautiful thing indeed! (Applying to self, others and the world)

I have learned that not everyone has COMMON SENSE. I learned this by watching my neighbors throw vacuum cleaners, used oil containers, garbage bags filled with plastic pop bottles etc into their giant fire pit.
HAHAHAH I called the conservation officer and he gave em a 10,000$$ fine~!~ You don't burn that kind of stuff and if you don't know this, you have NO COMMON SENSE~!~
