Pull off the 'grill' that runs all the way across the front of the refrigerater on the bottom. Get down on your hands and knees and look under the 'fridge. You should see the drip pan. Remove it carefully. I would take it outside and hose it off, then wash with water and dishwashing soap. As long as you have the grill off, hook up your vacume cleaner, put on the long, narrow attachment and CAREFULLY vacume the coils. Wash, dry and replace the grill.

Nowadays, most fridges are self defrosting. Back in the day though, my mom would put a pot of boiled water in the freezer and let it sit and the steam from the water would soften the ice and she would scrape it off with a knife. There also used to be a tray on some fridges that you just pull out and empty but I can't remember for sure where it was located.

Normally, the pan is at the bottom of the unit. You should see a plastic "grill" that covers the pan. Look for screws holding it on or it may just clip on. Empty the pan wand wash it out. Dry and reinstall it.

The pan should be on the bottom behing the grill. It is very easy to take the grill off and then be careful taking the pan out.
