Given this hypothetical situation, what are your feelings. You have fathered a child. The mother leaves you, taking the child with her. She has totally cut you off from her and your child. You were a responsible father, she left for her own selfish reasons. Father's Day is here. You see other parents with their children. What are your musings upon seeing other fathers being given the opportunity to excercise their paternal instincts.

I understand that this may not be a hypothetical situation for many, I would especially appreciate your responses. Your responses will be incorporated into a character that is being developed for a piece of fiction.

Based on the hypothetically selfish reason for her departure my emotions would range from sadness to anger. Seeing children out with parents on Fathers day would only make that worse. I may even consider isolating myself on that particular day to avoid the painful feeling that are sure to well up inside me.

Being a person myself, we as guys ordinarily do love to appear at more youthful ladies, that is our nature. For me, mature lady are Very Attractive and Knows what they wish. They own that exact some thing that is difficult to give an explanation for. The subsequent time your husband makes a few remark on a few more youthful lady, you must go back the want and make a remark on a tender good-looking guy and notice how he reacts to it. Maybe it is the inspiration of ways matters was while you have been somewhat more youthful and he appears at them and wishes to take into account the emotions he had whilst the 2 of you met. Try dressed in a few horny underwear for him and a few reveling apparel whilst you are out in combination, exhibit a few epidermis however now not slutty watching and watch the heads that YOU can flip. He would possibly then become aware of what he has and get grew to become on by way of it!

I can tell you that I am 47 (almost 48) I have been married for 24 years and I have two kids. Yet, you are looking for a mature person, guess my age does not make me mature!

My kids have never given me a father's day gift, I just never made a big deal of the holiday, just having them around has always been the best gift of all.

Now, if they were taken from me and I could never see them, it would be devastating, not just on father's day, but every day!

Well, if a woman just up and took off with a child cutting the father out of thier life without cause and the father did nothing to deserve it. And the father was longing to see his child, I doubt he would just let it happen without a fight. And a woman is not going to get full custody of a child and be able to keep the father out of their lives without just cause. No court would go for that.

Hmmm....I guess my first feelings would be what did I see in the mother in the first place? When we met and fell in love..or what I mistook as love...what was it about her that attracted me to her? What changed? How was she able to become so mean, so heartless that she left me, took the child and refuses to let me see him/her?
I would have to re-think our relationship over and constantly replay in my head the "If I had to do it over what would I do different" scenario.
Of course...there will never be a satisfactory conclusion to this because sje left for her own selfish reasons. None of which holds any water for me as far as her justification goes. So every Father's Day I would plan on being miserbale trying to solve this unslovable dilema. Wander off to my favorite bar and perch myself on the end sipping my beer and drowning my sorrows. Just like the previous Father's day and the one before that too.

Hope that helped or gave you some material for your novel.

I would be very saddened. My kids are everything to me. But hey what do you do. Ya can't cry over something you have no control over. I'd go home and have myself a nice cold one...
