If guns are outlawed in America...only the outlaws will be carrying them. No, they must not be taken from private owners.

Uhh, it might just be my interpretation but I believe the Second Amendment states the right to bear arms in a "well regulated militia" which was intended to keep our own government's army in check. If you want to shoot some deer or ducks or whatever in the name of culture and tradition, be my guest. But I don't see any reason that regular citizens, good or bad, should be walking around town with a 9mm ready to cap someone's a$$. Call me unrealistic and naive, but I don't think the Founding Fathers ever envisioned the gun culture in America to be what it is now.

Gosh, murder is already outlawed. Does that stop the killing? Get real. Bad things are going to happen. sad and tragic. But that is life.

you mean the states? Sure, then you could tell who the bad guys are, (the ones with the guns), and it would cut down enormously on the gun deaths and accidents - just look at the stats between other countries with gun laws versus the states! If guns are illegal, the states would be a much less scary place! And probably less fearful, too.
