All I can tell you is that he is a rookie who obviously was not having a good night with his location.

The Yankees beat themselves on Friday. Have a nice day.

Props to Jim for being one of the only intelligent Boston fans on here. When three of your top 4 pitchers are on the DL, that's not simply "making excuses." It was a good series by Boston, they came back from being down in all three games, which is both a good sign for them battling back, but also a little worrisome that their starting pitching got hammered too after some great starts prior to facing the Yanks. The Sox got the three wins, and that's that. I wouldn't look too much further into it. We haven't even finished a month of baseball yet, and they'll face each other again another 13 times before the playoffs. Any semi-intelligent Boston fan should know that they can't count the Yankees out, especially not so early in the season.

Why is everyone so sensitive on here. The reason Red Sox fans seem worse than the Yankees recently is because we are WINNING. If the Yanks swept us, they would be headlining here. Any real Boston fan knows that the Yankees can come back at anytime. Every real Boston fan knows they could sweep our butts next weekend. What makes the rivalry great is being in the "moment". Right now we are on top, so we get bragging rights and if the Yankees come back next weekend and sweep us, they will get the bragging rights. Calm down people. We only tease the Yankee fans and vice versa, because of our passion for both our teams. Outside of the playoffs, when the Yankees and Red Sox meet, it is the most exciting time of the year for the fans.

Don't get excited. I am a Sox fan and I liked the sweep as much as the rest of Red Sox Nation but the Yankees will be back. They are getting some help in the pitching depatrtment in the next 2 weeks via the return of Wang and Mussina, and they have a potent offense that will get even better once Matsui returns. It is a long season.

Boston beat a Yankee team plagued by injuries. I wouldn't say this series is an indicator of things to come. If anything I would say it's a bad omen for Boston that the Yankees were able to contend with them so well.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch.

congrats on finally breaking through in the 4th inning against a single A pitcher who was making only his fourth start above A ball. Shouldn't a lineup as "mighty" as the redsox have gotten to an A ball pitcher a bit sooner.

Oh and congrats on winning three in a row in your own ball park against the Yanks, since the Yanks had taken the last SEVEN in Boston.

The Pitching is terrible at this time I would say we have one of the weakest pitching staffs. When Wang, Mussina, and pavano come of the dl we will be alright. But as of the red sox series we have the worst pitching staff in the AL East.
- Our starting three Wang, Pettite, and Mussina are among the only relaible ones we have and Igawa and pavano are not reliable enough, I hope we make some trades by the deadline if we hope to come close to the world series

Nothing like taking the high road, huh?

How about just being happy that your team swept, and not rubbing it into the faces of all Yankees fans? I hear all the time about how arrogant and cocky New York fans are, but the Boston fans on here are making them look polite and subdued by comparison.

I'm not a fan of either team, but the childish sniping that goes on here sometimes is just pathetic.

The Yankees pitchers are off to a shaky start but they will get back on track through May. They've got a good team this year.

Lets talk in October when it matters, and like always the Sox crash and burn.

GO YANKEES!

Grow up Sox fans, I know it's hard since most of you are a bunch of lowlifes anyway.
kbye =)
