The pitching will be the downfall of the Yankees this year, they have a dangerous line up but picthing wins games and their starters are getting hurt over and over and even worse their bull pen is very weak. Their bullpen cost them at least 2 games this weekend and that is what will be their downfall this year.

Jokes on you buddy. Anyone who switches teams is lame.

If you watched the game, A-Rod didn't do much 0-2 with two walks and a run scored isn't taking on the offensive side of the ball by yourself. Jeter hit a home run, which is a good sign.

And if you knew anything about baseball you'd know that it's only April, and that we've got a whole season to play and 15 more games against the Red Sox.

And the next three are at Yankee Stadium.

Are you really proud that the Sox squeaked by a beat up Yankee club? The Yankees gave Boston a hell of a series against Boston's best 3 pitchers and should have won 2 of 3 games.

Enjoy yourself for now.

Long season and things change. The Yankees still scored a decent amount of runs in the 3 losses and they are getting some pitchers back from DL so i would worry as a Red Sox fan

Yankees fan that now roots for the mets??????????????? Way to be loyal to your team!!! Just like a NY fan root for the winning team....
But, to answer your question the Yanks will be fine, they have a few injuries right now that are killing them but they are still hanging with the Sox. Mussina, Weng and Pavano will be back in the rotation Matsui will be back and I am giving it a 88.89% chance Clemens will be in a Yankees uniform before the end of June. I see them trading away one of there young players (Carbera, Phillips) for a starting pitcher. They always pull through and this year will be no different. I'm sure you'll be a Yankees fan again come August. But, do us a favor and stay a Shea!

Sincerly,
Loyal Yankees, Sabres, Bills fan!!

2 things.

If you are now a Mets fan, you were never a true Yankees fan.
And, you can't possibly predict the outcome of a season after 3 weeks in. The only joke is this question of yours.

Instead of going for the overpriced offensive upgrades this year(Abreyu, Fosano why Fosano)
The Yankees will scramble to for another starter, and a couple of releivers. Looking at Bostons pitching staff, we got em all at a discount.

They brought this on themselves. They got rid of a lot of their pitching prospects to the Phillies for Abreu. (Granted, they can't be blamed for the tragedy of Lidle). I wouldn't count them out yet. Wang is coming back tomorrow. If Roger Clemens decides to pitch this year, the Yankee will pay him any amount of money he wants. They might also make a trade for a good pticher in July.

This is coming from a Red Sox fan.

It is way too early too say right now that the Yankees will finish 3rd in the division, but they do need to do something quick because their bullpen is dying. Wang is coming back but who knows maybe last year was just a fluke. Clemens is still deciding on who to go to. That is what I love about baseball, it is very unpredictable.

properly the crimson Sox have the extra suitable checklist ultimate now and it sounds like Boston would be enjoying in October at a similar time as the Yankees won't. i think of the crimson Sox have been extra suitable by way of fact the initiating of the twenty first century.
