This is really hard to answer. I have a lot of favorites. I'm not sure if you are trying to decide on where to go, you need to consider where you will be, how much you want to spend, who will be with you, what kind of food you want, if you are on the dining plan, etc. All of these factors can help you determine the best place to go.
Here are some of my favorites:
Grand Floridian:
Citricos
Narcoossee's
Victoria and Albert's
Polynesian:
Kona
'Ohana
Downtown Disney:
Fulton's Crabhouse
Portobello Yacht Club
Wolfgang Puck Dining Room
Animal Kingdom Lodge:
Boma
Jiko
Beach Club:
Beaches and Cream
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Yacht Club:
Cape May Cafe
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Boardwalk:
Big River Grille
Flying Fish
Spoodles
Coronado:
Maya Grill
Contemporary:
California Grill
Concourse Steakhouse
Swan and Dolphin:
Blue Zoo
Palio
Shula's
MGM Studios:
50's Primetime
Hollywood & Vine
Brown Derby
Mama Melrose
Magic Kingdom:
Tony's Town Square
EPCOT:
Marakesh
San Angel Inn
Teppanyaki Dining Room
Alfredo's
Bistro de Paris
Akershus
Les Chefs de France
Coral Reef
Mitsukoshi
Le Cellier
These are most of my favorites, I may have missed a few. To narrow it down a little more, if I had to pick my 5 favorite, I would probably go with:
1). Victoria and Albert's
2). Wolfgang Puck Dining Room
3). Les Chefs de France
4). Coral Reef
5). Le Cellier
But it really is hard to choose.
I'm going to include a link to All Ear's this is one of the best sites for info on dining. You can find info on the restuarants, menus, reviews, etc. It is really great.

Best restaurant at DW?
Ha! This is a trick question..... I have never had a bad dinner experience at DW. Other than having forgotten to make a reservation, but the tip top of the lists are
Scifi Dine In @ MGM
Whispering Canyon @ The Wilderness Lodge
Wolfgang's @ Disney Downtown
9 Dragons @ Epcot (they put on a spectacular Xmas feed)
Tusker House @ Animal Kingdom

I had a tough time with this one. I have a couple that I really like listed below:
Fulton's Crab house - Downtown Disney (had the crab and lobster over Easter, it was out of this world!!)
Chef Mickey's - character breakfast with Mickey and the gang up close and personal.
50's Prime Time diner, Sci Fi Drive-In and Mama Melrose's Italiano Restaurante in MGM.
Boatwright's in Port Orleans resort.
Turf Club in Saratoga Springs resort.
The restaurants in Germany, Mexico, and Japan (thier names escape me) and the Rose and Crown in England in Epcot.
We ate at quite a few of these places when we were there a couple of weeks ago and had a great time at all of them.
For a ton of info on the restaurants go to www.disneyworld.com. There is a whole section on dining that is pretty easy to get to and has pricing guides available. Also, try the dis boards. Disboards.com is a message board for WDW that has everything from resorts to dining to rides, etc. You can ask questions and get answers from people who know what they are talking about.
Hope this helps!

I really like the Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness lodge resort. Its food service family style so there is plenty to eat and the waiters are good about putting on a show!! I love the character breakfast at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom too. The Rainforest Cafe is nice and its a fun experience. Wow there are so many too choose from. They are all good.
Now I'm hungry!

Here's a good one - The Rose and Crown at EPCOT. The reason why I like this one is the view. Try to schedule dinner for about an hour before the fireworks. When you get to EPCOT go to the restaurant and bug them about getting a table on the back porch. Go a couple of times. And, when you get there for dinner remind them that you would really like to sit on the porch. They will try to accomodate you. The view there is incredible! Not only are you right on the edge of the water but you will have an unobstructed view of Illuminations and comfortable seats, no fighting crowds, no need to stake out your territory 2 hours in advance, and pretty good food.

Boma-Flavors of Africa aat Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is my personal favorite al off the restaurants on Disney property! It is unique, wonderful, and they offer a great selection of food choices for kids and picky eaters. Be sure to try the Fu-Fu (tastes like Pumpkin Pie) and my favorite dessert item, the Zebra Cakes or Chocolate Mousse!

Depends on what you like. The best Character dinner is Chef Mickey--best character breakfest is Lilo and Stitch's O'Hanas. Fine dining is good at the California Grill and Le Cellier (in Epcot's Canada).

My personal favorite is Boatwright's at Port Orleans Riverside. We stayed there last year and the food was wonderful. The second is Liberty Tree Tavern, my husband just loves Liberty Square, the food was also amazing here too.

I really like the brew pub that is at the Boardwalk resort. The food at the parks isn't great from my experiences. It all tastes like fast food.
