I remember the long walks along the Volga in January, I will never forget, cause I lost the end of my nose to frostbite.

I remember the boscht on the porcht of the dacha, the smile as he told me of his adventures frolicking in the woods with the forest folk, who he later had sent to Siberia for crapping on the snow peas.

But i will most fondly remember him, lying on the floor of his office, stinking drunk, in a puddle of his own urine, and with an almost empty bottle of Stoli lying by his side as his ancient phonograph played on infinite repeat.......Back in the USSR.

Yeltsin was the right man at the right time to lead the country from Communism to Capitalism. The beginning of his Presidency was strong.

Seeing his passing is watching history close another chapter.
