This should cost you very little. Personal injury cases are taken on a contingency fee basis. The atty fees come out of the settlement or verdict. If you lose, the attorney does not get paid. My state has a lawyer referral program. Call your state bar office and ask for a referral. I don't know where you are and I don't do personal injury, but I'd probably make you pay a very small retainer to cover costs. I don't think you will have any difficulty finding an attorney for this.

You can also try some of the law schools to see if any of the professors would like to pick up this case pro bono for a class learning experience.

It's a violation of Yahoo guidelines to request or post personal email for correspondence.

Look in your LOCAL phone directory under personal injury or contact your county bar association for a referral. It's almost impossible to get someone pro-bono these days, but good luck.

You might want to mention the state where this occurred. You want one that is licensed in that state.

While you're waiting on responses, you might want to check the yellow pages, odds are there are some that state right in their ad that they are what you are looking for.
