So what happens to those concept cars that are never mass produced and sold throughout the U.S. I see concept cars every year at shows and they ALL are never introduced to the public for sale...It's only a few....

So I know they travel to different shows all over the country and I'm sure the world....But!!! What happens when they are done traveling with the Auto Shows are they scraped? Torn apart or is there some rich person out there with concept cars in his or her garage.....Just waiting to be featured on cribs???

I would really like to know....

Scrapped, or end up in company museum. Every car company has one, you know, some have more than one.

Remember, a lot of those concepts are not even drivable. Many don't even have a real steel / fiberglass body. It's mainly a shell with real tires mounted. Often these show cars have tires so large they can't even turn (or it'll scratch the wheel wells). Interiors are likely mockups as well.

It takes a special project to produce an actually drivable concept car... or a very late-stage developement car that's almost ready to go to market.

Usually they get sold off at auctions like Barret Jackson's and some rich guy like Jay Lenno buys em.
