This DVD/book promotes positive thinking. You can have anything you want if you truly believe you can have it, type of thing, Seen it reviewed on the Heaven and Earth show. One of the guests said it was evil as it mislead people? I've never read or seen book or videa.

From what I hear of it, it sounds like a secularized "name it and claim it" "gospel" which claims "that God will make [believers] rich as long as they have faith and [donate]." Chop off the "and [donate]", remove God, and you pretty much have The Secret.

Not evil..definitely misleading..praying on the gullible ...yes. I have seen the movie..and truly felt the whole thing was wrong for some reason. Just didnt feel right to me. But the people who put it out are sure becoming rich..so maybe that is "the secret"

It just the power of positive thinking.. good things DO happen to people who are upbeat.. Now whether that's because of God, some magical genie of the universe, or just people wanted to be around other positive people I have no idea, but it's ceratinly not evil.

Well I will have to read the book though. I heard that God is not associated with it. I've also read the same type of book I have in my private library in my bedroom. I believe it, but I only believe THE SECRET can work with God's help. I kinda see it as blasphemy, becuase they use positive thinking and concentration to replace God.
Further study on this subject will be a great benefit.

It is NOT evil. It simply states that YOU control yourself, your mind, your life. YOU can make these changes by belief in YOURSELF.

Well I'd watched it once and I think its fairly motivative and encouraging. It is always good to think positive like the saying that goes " nothing is impossible". When you think about something and believe that you can have it, then you would do whatever it takes to achieve it.

It depeneds on what you're willing to believe. In my beliefs it is evil because these forms of methods and meditations come from demonic sources in which satan gives us power to fill our own needs so that we never need to depend on God. Now if you want to learn the secrets of life and be filled and satisfied with every need, be it material, spiritual, and eternal- the answer is Christ receiving Him and seeking a relationship with Him, be His child and He will provide everything you need as the Father.

let me throw something at you to wrap around your brain. if you believe you can have something and your willing to work hard to git it then LET NOTHING STAND IN YOUR WAY. people have a problem telling people what they can or can't do, if the shelf's to high you can reach it, if the box is to big you can't pick it up. Listen I'm not going to tell you that...what i am going to do is tell you that shelf that's to high git a stool that box that's to big git a crane. listen your life is not based on what people tell you you can't do, its based on what you decide you can do.
