Sure do I know I have done it. I hit a telephone pole backed up and hit it again. The police said that the way I hit it the pole should of smashed the whole front end of the car. I would of been dead, which was what I was trying to do, I must of had a reason to be here. So here I am I know now that I can keep going even when I know I can't.

Yes. I agree. I have found that many times when I thought I could not continue, somehow I gained the strength to go on. Last week was a good example for me. I pushed myself into several 24 hour "marathons" to obtain maximum points on Y!A. I took several naps over the 4 day period. It seemed as tho my mind and body cooperated in achieving the goal.

My experience is you can keep going as long as you know you can. Once you've set your limit, you're very likely to validate your assessment.

I believe that you never know how far you can go until you can go no further and then it is too late to pace yourself.

That would be true in a world of limitations. Cancer pain changed my mind about that.
