oh my! perhaps the bone is fractured!
anyway, you should have an X-ray as soon as possible--otherwise, the damage may be permanent. My grandmother twisted broke her wrist but she merely bandaged it. After a while, the bone fused together the wrong way--so now she has a bent wrist.
please don't let this happen to you.

I badly sprained my ankle about 3 weeks ago. I was in a hurry going down the stairs, lost my balance and landed on a bad side of my left foot, causing my left ankle to be stretched going on the inside. The first 48 hours were excruciating and the pain was un-believable. I've never had a serious ankle injury before.
So I immediately treated it using the RICE method. The following day, the bruising and swelling were so horrible. I found out that I got a second degree sprain and immediately panicked after that. I had a football game on that week and it been looking forward to it because I've been training for rt. I had teammates that had similar injuries and it took them months to fully recover, some of them stopped playing altogether. So I kinda had a short-term depression because I can't imagine myself not being able to run and play sports anymore.
Because I was so desperate to recover again, I contacted a lot of people that I know who do sports and asked them if they had similar injuries. One friend of mine, from the boy's football team in my university, told me about H.E.M. Ankle Rehab. I got a copy 4 days after I got injured. I immediately read and followed what was instructed and felt improvement on the first day. I was able to walk a bit, but I was in pain.
A couple of days after that, the swelling and bruising were subsid-ing significantly and on the fourth day, I was walking comfortably again. Although I've had felt a bit of stiffness, I continued doing what was instructed. My sister was surprised that I have recovered this fast. I told her about this book and was shocked on how effective the procedures were. I'm just so happy that this book was shared to me and how effective it is.
Heal your ankle fully & fast?

You may have torn a ligament . You'll have to see a doctor or nurse to give you a definite diagnosis and to strap the ankle properly. If you have a torn ligament you will have to rest the ankle as much as possible, but then again you may just have a bad sprain, Which ever is the case I'd seek medical advice.

Sprained ankles can take up to two weeks to get over.
Obviously you weren't staying off it and resting it for those two weeks before getting knocked again.
It's time to go visit your doctor, or emergency room.
An x-ray will rule out a broken bone.
Even a hairline fracture can create instability, pain, and/or swelling.
(and stay off your foot for a few days!)

you likely further to the wear and tear. Sprains take an exceedingly long term to heal, and in case you re-injured it then for sure it incredibly is going to be swollen. you're able to see a doctor to rule out any style of ruin and to have it dealt with.

You probably damaged your ligiaments(can't remem sp) my suggestion is go to the hospital the first time it didn't sound to bad just a sprain ya know but the second one doesn't sound to good I don't think you hurt the bone but definite soft tissue damage it may not be serious It might go away but it sounds like it might need a professional assistance

Your achilles tendon is stretched. It does not heal. You probably need braces until it gets better.
Use ice packs and do exercises to help the situation.
Only your doctor can properly diagnose this problem.
