i have another computer but i have one that is a touchscreen monitor that has windows xp embedded i need the touch screen to run off my tower

Have you considered using Remote Desktop Connection (Start->All Programs->Accessories->Communications->Remote Desktop Connection)? As long as you aren't using a multi-touch screen, the screen input is generally interpreted as a mouse click and should be transparent to the computer you are connecting to.

NOTE: You may need to configure permissions on the systems and possibly firewall or port blocking settings if you can't get the connection working. Post another question if you need help on that.
