One of the greatest you can say. When you talk about left hand greats you can't miss out on Sir Garfield Sobers,Allan Border, I believe Garfield Sobers played cricket in a much difficult era when it was not easy to bat in. You can say Lara was greatest left handed batsman of his time.

yes Brian was the best left handed batsemn . he has always been an entertainer rather than a professional kind of player. he has a test record of 60 odd which is 2nd to Don bradman who has 100.
Yes as he served 17 years for his mother country and international cricket he should definitely have felt bad to leave cricket in such a bad manner.
