Old earrings, bits and pieces of jewelry. If it's the right style, wrap a belt with a fancy buckle around it and cut off the excess. Tie a scarf around it. Some of those beaded scrunchies would look unique.

First get a "Hot Melt Glue Gun". Usually at Hobby Stores and places like Wal-Wort in the Crafts section.
You can use anything you like. Old Coins and a favorite Concert Ticket Stub (Try to get the ticket torn so you keep the most you can). But, the list of what you can use is really up to you and things you like or enjoy talking about.

you can put duck tape and spray paint it with a metallic color. it might sound weird but its really cool looking.
