If you are thirsty, your body needs water. If you drink saliva, you are not gaining any water because your body had to remove water from your bloodstream in order to make the saliva.

When you feel thirsty, it means your body requires more water. When you drink your own saliva, your only redrinking the fluid inside you, thus meaning that you aren't gaining any fluids. : )

because saliva is used for digesting, it does not actually run inside our body, being thirst means that our BODY needs water, another thing, if you swallow your saliva your mouth will dry, drying of the mouth and throat can also cause thirst...

u need h2o no saliva. the chemical comosition of saliva is different that that of water and thus it is not suitable for quenching thirst.

because your saliva isn't actually fluid it's more like really runny snot it's not pretty i know and yes it is disgusting but that's the truth.
