can anyone believe that game last night? i can't believe chase wright let in 4 homeruns. Why didn't they put him on the bench?

because just like you and I we would not ever think of 4 hrs going out 1 after another.
First of all they should have taken him out after the lowell 3run hr.
chase will have to bounce back from this or he will never hear the end of the yankee fans along with every other teams fans

It is a freak occurrance. Last night was only the 5th time in Major League Baseball History that that has happened. Unfortunately it happend to Chase. Torre did the right thing by pulling Chase from the game. He is a rookie and he was heavily shell-shocked by the event. Pull him out and let him fight again another day.
But as for benching him permanently? No, he is young and will be fantastic.
As much as I hate to say it, it was an impressive hitting show the Red Sox put on with that homerun derby.

Chase pitched well up to that point and had the Sox off balance. He is a poised young player and will do well.

They probably ruined that rookie's career last night. He will have absolutely no confidence now. Once a pitcher loses confidence, they are horrible (Brad Lidge).
That was quite a freak show last night.
