I just finished reading the book and I fell in love with it, I have seen the 2006 remake of the film and fell in love with it also. I must say my favorite character is "Mr. Darcy." So much mystery in him, yet he's so forward. Major contradiction, I know, but way way way back when that was romantic but I suppose today doing that will get the police called on you for being considered a stalker.
My least favorite character would have to be the mother. She's out there, but like she said having 5 daughters, what else would be on your mind other than them getting settled down and married.

Mr. Darcy for me as well. I love this book and all the movies that have been made.
I'd have to say the cousin - Mr. Collins, he's just too much for me. Very weird little man.

My favorite is Elizabeth, because she managed to fall in love and stick to her ideals. My least favorite is the father, Mr. Bennet. He's a good character, a good man, but he should have done so much more to protect his daughters. He lets his wife and younger daughters make the family look ridiculous. And, like many people of his day, he didn't prepare his daughters for anything other than marrying gentlemen, even tho they may have not been that fortunate. (which is a prevailing theme in Jane's writing)

Can't stand Lydia or the minister cousin. The mother isn't exactly the ideal either. I LOVE Mr. Darcy.

My faves wee Elizabeth and Darcy as they are both strong headed and dont just settle for what their station demands they do.
I couldnt stand their mother or Mr Collins as they were both brown nosers looking out for their own interests.

My favourite character is Mrs. Bennett because she is so ridiculous. She makes me laugh.
My least favourite character would have to be the insufferable Mr. Collins. I do find him funny, but he is just such a brown noser, he gets on my nerves.

in step with possibility you like the reality that he learns extra straight away that Lizzie to not be deceived by utilising first impressions. Or that he is going the extra desirable mile to assist the Bennett kinfolk after Lydia runs away with W. different characters are stupid and wishy-washy, yet Darcy is consistent in words and deeds. desire this helps.

I love Elizabeth, she's gutsy and funny and witty. I also quite liked her father (can't remember if he has a name :S lol)
I'm not too fond of Lydia or as you said also, the mother, they used to get on my nerves lol!

None. I threw the book over my shoulder after the first two pages. I can't stand that sap-ridden style of writing.
