The thing is I would like to buy a headphone in amazon.com but i don't know if the ones they have on their website is new or not, since the price they show is lower than the cost.

They allow you to buy new or used items. If you click on the "XXX available offers" link, then you're most likely looking at the used version. It's always best to buy new electronics because amazon gaurentees these products. Only some of the used products are gaurenteed by Amazon, so if you get a bad product, they're under no obligation to exchange it. Otherwise, books, figurines, clothes, your safe.

Some of them are new but you go through them and they do business with a 3rd party. When you buy somethings from them you are actually buying it from a smaller business but Amazon helps them by adding their products to their site. Yeah it's safe. I know people, including myself, who use it all the time to buy books, movies, and table cloths.

The products are rated as new, like new, used, etc... If you purchase from Amazon as being the merchant, then it'll be new unless otherwise stated.

I have never had a problem with them, their items are usually used, or discontinued items
