All the time! On Saturday I bought some cream to get rid of the dark circles under my eyes! Set me back about £14.00 and I wouldn't have got it if I hadn't seen an ad! I'm so gullible!

I'm not a BMW fan but the new advert might just sell me one... it's the advert with all the coloured lights and the classical music... fabulous advert... I've always said that the best adverts are the ones that get me to buy something I don't like and this one sure hits the spot!

I was in Morrisons at the weekend and I needed to buy some kitchen towels. I found them and saw the Bounty brand, because of the adverts and the annoyuing men dressed as women on the said ads, I didnt buy them and bought another make instead.

i am sure they get me regularly although i like to believe i am immune - i doubt i am 100% immune, maybe 90??%
the last memorable one was about 10 -15 years ago or more when some company came up with a food product which was was neither a cake nor a biscuit. i really wish i could remember what it was called but after seeing the ad i really wanted to try it - it was absolutely disgusting!! needless to say i havent seen it on the shelves since!!
more recently i seem to be influencd by ads for cleaning products like cillit bang and vanish, both of which profess to be really exceptional at cleaning but ultimately they arent better than anything else in the market.

I think we all are even if we dont realise it. Back in the 1990's coca-cola ran a successful campaign (until it was taken off air), which consisted of a brief flash of a can of coke. The flash of the image was so quick you didnt automatically register that you had seen a can of coke, but would be left think about coke, but not sure why. This was so close to hypnotism that it was taken off air for the obvious ethical reasons.

A lot but not always, a nice cold beer ad late at night gets me everytime but equally I would sooner live in squalor than ever buy some cillit bang and I would love to smack BARRY SCOTT right in the laughing gear!

No, not anymore. When I was younger I would say yes. Now I know it's all just a ploy to get you to buy something. If I want it and can afford it, I'll get it. Otherwise it just go's in one ear and out the other. Most of the time it's not as good as they make it out to be anyway.

The ASDA ads with children shrieking overtly-sexual songs out of tune always influence me to mute the TV and remember not to shop in ASDA.
