I've only bid on 1 item on ebay and I made darn sure I was not outbid because it was a rare video game I wanted to replace after mine burned in our house last year. It cost me over a hundred bucks and I haven't played it once (jus to make sure it worked) - but it was worth it, lol.

yes it is! I spent $300 on there this weekend!
I get pisst when I get outbid, especially if it's something I really want and it's a good price, but I watch bids until theres like 5 mins. left and THEN put in my bid

I would not call it addictive. I have gotten burned at least 4 times on stuff that was misrepresented on EBay. So I am not so excited over EBay anymore.

ebay is very addictive! and i HATE losing an auction but most of all i hate when i have MISSED the ending of an auction and i come back to find there was NO bid on it or it sold for next to nothing! UGH! that really chaps me......
