Yeah if I only have a few things and they are open. The store in my town closes the self checkout lane at 10pm

Although I don't go shopping that often, I try to whenever I can. Our local grocery story replaced 2 express lanes with self check out lanes. People who are technologically impaired don't use them, which means I can get through the line faster.

Yes, whenever the regular lines are long, I would go to the self checkout. I'd rather use the regular lines though cuz I can get chatty with the cashier.

Yes I use them...one time I pushed a whole basket of groceries out for free while using it. Thank God for self checkout

In some stores, I know which ones will give me trouble and which ones are easy. The grocery store, no, but the warehouse club store, yes, every time.

Heck no...everytime I use one something goes wrong and a cashier has to come fix it anyway. So I just go through the regular line.
