How can my friend move to Phoenix and retire?

I have a friend who needs to make a quick $300,000 to move to Phoenix so that he can retire and watch college football on TV while sitting in a swimming pool while his doctor wife brings home actual working money. He is open to just about anything except restaurants.

Oak Grove Hornets?
I guess the doors are open to do whatever he know to do. Many people working for themselves can make good money, but, I not sure how quick, it may take 2-3 years for myself.
