addictions can be a hard thing to break. I would recommend a 12 step program like AA I mean they have it for alcohol and for over eating, and for sex addictions and they are all the same 12 steps so perhaps look for a group of people with the same problem that you can get together with and support eachother. Now for internet you need to sit at your computer so make sure you don't have your computer in your bedroom where you are supposed to sleep and that should help with that problem. if you start with small things that'll help you build a better routine.

So you're going on the computer to ask a bunch of uncured computer addicts what to do about computer addiction? Man, that's like going to a bar and asking the drunks how to get sober.

Go on a weekend wilderness hike with a group. Cold turkey. You'll still be addicted on Monday, but you'll know you can survive a couple of days without it.

Make a week off from the computer
if you can't, just break the computer or throw it on the wall, then everything will be fine, and you'll get more energy and have more fun things to do than answering and asking too many quesitons to strangers like myself, who may be coming and knocking your door in a second.

This is a type of obsessive/compulsive behavior known as "Obsessive/Compulsive Disorder" (OCD). I had a roommate once with this. He found a combination of therapy & medication to be helpful. I think the medicine Prozac somehow helps.
