In response to Congress plan on Iraq the White House deputy press secretary Dana Perino said, "I fear that they are talking themselves into believing that we are not facing a determined enemy — a sworn enemy of the United States, and they do this at our peril."

the determined enemy is anybody who does not believe that all our freedoms and rights and our entire economy should be based on the manufacture, control, distribution, and use of guns and oil. there are many people in Iraq who do not agree with this. there are even some people in the USA who do not agree with this. war has also been declared on them.

There are 3 basic religious groups in Iraq and they have hated each other for thousands of years. They are the Kurds, the Sunni and the Shea. When Sadam was in charge, he was a Shea, and routinely killed the Sunni and the Kurds. Now that the power has shifted, the US has been supplying mainly the Kurds and the Sunni, who are taking revenge for all of the years under Sadam. So, basically, there is a civil war going on. One side against the other two. In areas, like Baghdad, where they all live amongst each other, they fight for survival. In the North of Iraq, the Kurds are the dominant force, and control there area, without problems, mainly because the other two aren't' living there, and won't go there.
Then other countries, like Iran, Egypt, Serria, and other Arab countries have people that want to fight and kill Americans. They go to Iraq and join whatever group (of the 3) that is closest to their own religion, where they are accepted and can further the cause of that group. Make sense?

It would be like the US civil war. The north against the south. But, then other states, from the west joined either the north or the south, places like Illinois, Indiana, and so on, that weren't in the north or south, but wanted one side to win over the other.

The biggest enemy the United States faces right now, is the president. How can a leader of our country intentionally divide it to get what he wants?? That is the goal of the terrorists - to divide our country. The terrorists need not worry, the moron is taking care of it for them.
The enemy within Iraq is probably the moron's private army, Blackhawk USA, stirring up cr@p to keep up the impression that occupying armed forces are needed in Iraq.

Iran, Syria, Al Qaeda, and Saddamite insurgents. A true civil war would not have factions from other countries trying to seize a country for their own political purposes. Much of the problem comes from Iran, who (along with the Democrats) hopes that it can demoralize the American people and military to the point they leave, and Iraq will be theirs.
Such a scenario would be disastrous for the US and the world, as oil prices will shoot up, and Iran will be strengthened in their goal of producing a nuclear weapon to use on Israel.

Perino was eluding to Al Qaeda but the bulk of the Iraqi violence is from the people. They're trying to drive out the occupiers. The reason you are confused is because the admin wants you to be. They don't speak in clear terms, they infer and elude and suggest; they beat around the bush.

This could be an oblique reference to the suspected support by the Iranian government to the militant factions fighting in Iraq.

Someone is offering support to the groups who want to continue the civil war. And there is enough evidence to prove the Iranians could be the root of the weapons and money.

The Iraqi people that were going to greet us as liberators plus a few Al Queda who weren't there before we invaded and created chaos. At any rate they are no threat to us here at home.
