Equality in a health and social care setting means that all are ore entitled to equal tretment and are considered equals. For example, all patients are entitled to be treated equally, without preference if they display the same symptoms. Likewise all students are entitled to an equal education. Diversity allows for individual differences without affecting their equal rights. Diversity is respected and acknowledged.
