No point asking twice = you just get the same answer twice :-)

Most people use on-line share dealing services these days - and if you purchased via your on-line broker you will have a log-in account where the shares (and their current value) are shown (and updated, at least daily).

If you want something faster, go to the FT site, or one of the many other financial sites, that display stock prices minute by minute (usually with a 20 minute delay).

NB. There used to be a 'ticker' service that would show prices in a scrolling side bar on you PC screen = I've no idea if this still exists ... (DYOR as usual :-) )
