There is no "certain number" of kicks you're supposed to feel. Every woman and baby is different. 23 weeks is still fairly early, the kicks will get stronger and more noticable as your pregnancy goes on. My son always kicked at set times, around 11 am and then again at 9 pm, I felt random kicks and movement through the day, but those were his active times. What I was told, is that you shouldn't worry about the amount of kicking unless it gets drastically less often or stops entirely, then get your self to the doc. Every pregnancy is different.

My doctor never had me count my sons kicks and they start having you count them towards the end around 35 weeks. I think it depends on the baby for the kicks also, some babies are more active in the morning but some are more active at night. As long as you are getting lots of kicks during his active time then you should be fine. If you still are wondering then I would call your OB

There's really no set number of kicks that you should be feeling right now. You'll learn what is normal for your baby as the pregnancy goes on and that's what you need to pay attention to. Some babies are just naturally more active than others.

no every one is different about that baby kicks are very active at times or not at other times you shouldnt be worried at all about that but if you dont feel the baby at all for a day they sit back and drink apple juice and put your hands on your stomach and count the kicks and still if nothing go to the hospital. mine is very active and i am 36.2 weeks she moves all the time

no not really hun just smile and notice that the baby moves it varies from day to day. I am 19 weeks and i feel the baby at least once and a day and i love it but if i dont feel the baby yes i get nervous so i went and bought a fetal heart monitor to put my mind at ease. Hope you enjoy your pregnancy. Many blessings

No I do not believe so. You just need to make sure you feel the baby at least once a day at your stage. I did not feel my daughter for like 2 days so I called the dr. and they had me come in for a stress test and evrything was fine, Just where she was I could not feel her. Hope this helps
