The court isn't going to move to another location for you. They are where they are. Even if you reschedule, you still have the same problem at a later date.

So, let's think about your situation. If you call an hour or two before court tomorrow and ask to reschedule, what would happen if they said "okay"? You aren't the only one that has to be there, so "someone" has to inform the other side, whether that's the Plaintiff, Defendant, or Prosecutor, and that's not to mention any witnesses.

But let's presume they do tell you "okay", but never get around to telling the Judge. You might find yourself surprised by having a Bench Warrant put out for your arrest for Failure to Appear, or if a civil case, losing by Default.

Get up early and get there. All of the options are worse than that.

Call and explain it, they might be able to help you in some way, if not postponing the trial until you can make it.

But do call regardless, and make a record of it (who you spoke to and when) otherwise they might mistake you as a flight risk, and you definately dont want that.

It can't hurt to call. Maybe they can accommodate you in some way. If you don't call and don't go, you will get a ride to your next court date in the back of a cop car.

Call them and explain. I doubt they can move the court closer; but if you don't call and don't show you may be a fugitive and subject to warrant and arrest.
