My Dr's office is not open yet. I have tried the hot pad, the ty and my kids are due to wake up any second. I have to get up and around. Is it ok to take a Soma?

Your doctor should have an answering service. You need to call that and have him/her paged to call you back. Ask the OB, because I'm thinking you probably shouldn't take it.

no i wouldnt take soma just keep the heating pad on till ur doctor opens soma is only going to put u asleep and laying there is only going to make u hurt more so get up and move around the best u can u dont have long

I hate the thought of Soma. It's a drug of abuse and adds nothing to the treatment of back pain when compared to adequate analgesics alone. There's no point in taking it in the riskiest part of your pregnancy. Acetaminophen and perhaps a narcotic prescribed by your doctor will be a better choice.

i would avoid from takin anythinb other than the hot pad try get incontact with a doctor again if not the doctor then a midwife just 2 be on the safe side

While I was pregnant the only thing the doc recommened was Tylenol, please talk with your doc before taking any medications, just to be on the safe side. I asked my doc before doing anything while I was pregnant.

although i am not sure about soma's, sorry. you can take any tylenole product, and you can take vicoddin if you have any laying around.
