She has a boyfriend but we get on really well. I dont know if she finds me attractive and I certainly dont know if she would leave him. its gone beyond the flirty office thing and we are now really close. I don't know if its "just friends" on her part though.

you could end up with pie in your face, but guys better have thick skins. If you know she has a boyfriend, she might not want to break off.... It could be just friends and you will run the risk of losing this intimacy if your plan back fires. Would you be interested enough to become more than friends or is it your curiosity here? You could drop hints but not come out to straight forward coz there's no room to reverse.

I think asking her would be the simplest method....!
Be careful though....quite often the 'forbidden fruit' is a lot more appealing than something that is available. It has probably been easy to build up a relationship thus far as you have both always known that there was a natural barrier in the way from things progressing beyong a certain line....i.e. she has a boyfriend.
Clearly now you have approached this barrier - and there is nowhere further to go without the issue being raised.
I guess you should ask whether you would want to make a go of it with her in the first place - and secondly whether it is worth risking having her as a friend and the role that she currently plays in your life.
Nothing in life is easy....but think carefully before acting.

.... yeah, tell her straight away but that might scare her away... she might be undecided or confused or she wants to get to know you better. my suggestion is: try to spend as much time as you can with her (different from becoming obsessive though!). try to organize nights out with other colleagues (groups give way more security - and are usually accepted - and have a more relaxed atmosphere) or alone...
wait for more signs! if she makes up her mind she will probably let you know in a quite evident way!

Well if she sticks her tongue down your throat that is a sign! I would just be straight with her and tell her about your objections with her boyfriend. Be cautious cause it always comes around buddy.
