I am a fan but after watching United since 1963, I hope I'm also a realist.
United don't quite have the experience of the aging Milan team, but overall are more talented. The history is irrelevent.
The big question mark will be as to whether United's patched up defence can contain Milan over 2 legs. As ever, not conceding an away goal tomorrow night is likely to be very important. If United's midfield and front line can perform as they did against Roma (and, no I don't expect 7 goals or anywhere close) they should go through.

Milan is far more talented and solid than most of you are giving them credit for. They have battled to 4th in Serie A starting with an 8 point deficit. They may be a little older, but the talent and experience of the team will make a big difference in shutting down the Man. U attack. Kaka and Gilardino will take care of the rest.
I'm pulling for an AC Milan, Chelsea final.

I'm a fan
to be honest history counts for nothing
we have got injuries at the moment but Milan have a ageing team
there defence is especially very old
there wonderful goalie nelson dida is a doubt
kaka, seedorf amongst others are very good players
but man u dropped 2 points against boro so they will be motivated more than ever to beat Milan
it will be a tight game
i predict a 2 nil man u win at old trafford
and a 1-1 draw at the San siro

Even if I am a Mauritian I would love Manchester United to win
against Milan because i am a great fan of Manchester United.
SO lets hope it will be mine choice. As Man Utd have Rooney, Ronaldo, Ferdinand, Heinze, Saha and Van Der Sar and their is only Kaka good in Ac Milan. But Man Utd should play 3 3 4 as the defense of Ac Milan is very hard.

Milan will go through. They have far more experience and skills in their team, whilst Man Utd only have C.Ronaldo and a slowly getting back to form Rooney. Try to imagine the likes of Kaka, Pirlo, Gilardino, Inzaghi, Seedorf, up against a make shift defence, Milan will tear Man Utd apart even in the first leg. A lucky Man Utd will walk away with one or two goals down going to the second leg.

With injuries and the poor quality of football they are currently playing (bar the Roma game) they haven't got a hope. Fans of ManU are blinkered and will be convinced they'll win without bothering to read the stats.
However, the stats were stacked against ManU beating Roma - so what do stats tell you ? But UEFA don't want an all England final either, so maybe the ref might have something to say in each game.

Fully fit with all players available, I believe they are a better side than Milan. Before these injuries occurred in such rapid succession I had no doubts that we could get through and win the final. Now I feel that it is about their desire, commitment and spirit and self belief. it will not be easy now, but I have learned never to count them out when they look down and out.

The difference makers in the two legs between these teams will undoubtedly be Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka. These two players control the flow of their respective teams at the moment. Otherwise, Milan and Manchester are surprisingly similar this year - opposing power strikers in Rooney and Ronaldo; solid defending; and creativity through Pirlo and Scholes.

As a none man u fan I hate them more than anything, they make my blood boil. As an english man I want them to kick some Milan ar$e, I think they are able to do it. I doubt it will be pretty nice football, just a goal will decide.
