First, give yourself credit for quitting it before. One thing you already know is that you can do it. Another thing you already know is what to expect - just exactly how hard it is. You know what worked the first time, and you know what didn't. So you already have a lot going for you.
What has changed in your life in the last 8 months? Using it again didn't "just happen", you are fooling yourself about that. You made a series of choices that led to you putting your hand on it and putting it into your body. You made choices about where to go, who to be with, what to look at and listen to, what to do about whatever you were feeling. You know better than anyone that you need to take an honest look at your actions, and think about what might have triggered them.

I'd also like to point out that you have very likely grown and changed in the last five years. Some things that didn't help you before may help you now, such as groups. Or maybe you'll need to find new things that work. You know that in the end, it's only you that makes the choice to do it or not to. You also know that a little help can mean a lot at the right time.

Get yourself whatever help you think might work for you, and take the first steps. You are worth it, and there are people who love you and trust you.
Let us know how you are doing, my thoughts will be with you.

go seek professional help. how did it just happen? things like that don't just happen. It's usually a series of events that lead up to the moment of weakness. Get clean because you're just messing up your life. Think about the things that are important and ask yourself if it's worth throwing those things away.

If you have children, think about what it will do to them. Ask someone that you trust for help. They will respect you for trying to get help.
