If one were to review the HISTORY of this question, on Yahoo, it would certainly seem like SUICIDE to question the perception That Hitler died, by suicide, in a bunker, on April 30TH, 1945.
There are web sites that seem to go to the extreme, TO PROVE, that this was not the case. However, in consideration of the proven tendency for History not to get it right: The political implications, to all powers of a surviving Hitler: The consideration that, above all, that Adolph Hitler was a survivor and had all of the assets at his disposal , to pull of a hoax: A reasonable person has to wonder if this did ,factually take place, as commonly represented.
If today, this premise was presented in a Court of Law, to jury of 12, would it stand up.
No one saw Hitler shoot himself.
Forensics have never provided proof that this skull is Hitlers, yet do the ballistis match the wound ?
Hitler was known to have at least, 3 identical doubles: Why ?
Would his "corpse" have been burned without his direct order to do so ? And why would he have done this ? And in such a haphazard fashion ? And directly outside of the bunker ?
Without doubt, it was intended to have the remains found.
Subsequent to this, these remains were buried but no one even remembered where ! Is this plausible ?
Then buried a second time, and again no one could remember or identified that they had buried the #1 demonic, villian of all time.
To study Hitlers rise to power, from a relatively undistinguished failure at all that he undertook, one has to consider that he would not have satupon his kiester and rolled over, with weeks of anticipation of being captured where as he was known to travel frequently, all through the War, to his many retreats.
What would a world, already anticipating post-war political strife and facing reconstruction of a continent, do with a living Hitler: How could he be fairly tried without contributing further to global upheavel? Would Russia even turn him over to a legitimate jurisdiction ?
It is well established that there were pre-planned avenues(both political and geographical) of escape for high ranking NAZI officers. It has been intimated that several governments facilitated clandestine immigration of not only prominant scientists but those that could provide intelligence or proaganda value to a future enemy.
Let's be reasonable, here:

Hitler and Eva Braun committed suicide in the bunker . Eva took cyanide and Hitler shot himself in the mouth. Their boddies were burned by gasoline as requested and there were rumors the Russians had a part of his skull but there was no evidence to back up this statement. They claimed to have discovered the body but was also called into question because he had plenty of doubles protraying him known as dopplegangers.

Hitler shot himself in the bunker in the closing days of the war. His aides then took his body, and that of his mistress Eva Braun (who also committed suicide) to the outside of the bunker, poured gasoline on the bodies and burned them.
The remains were discovered by Soviet soldiers, and they were transported back to Moscow, where they remain in a vault to this day. Recent DNA tests on the bones indicate that the skeleton in Russian hands IS indeed Hitler.

He shot himself through the roof of the mouth when the allied troops were approaching his bunker. His body and that of Eva Braun (who took cyanide) were wrapped in blankets, brought outside the bunker and burned almost beyond recognition. The Russians were first on the scene and recovered the remains of his skull which they still have in a Moscow museum today (NOT on display, I might add).

His corpse was said to have been burned. He shot himself with his personal pistol, a golden Walther "PPK" 7.65mm or .32ACP. This gun would not fire more than a few times before it tore apart, for gold is soft. The gun has blood in the grips.
