Can someone tell me what might be wrong with my abdomen?

HELP PLEASE! I am having numbness/pain/ and swelling on my left side. It goes from my belly button down to my leg and belly button around to my spine.
It is numb but swollen and painful at the same time. What could it be? I do have Irritable Bowel, Endometriosis, and Fibromyalgia.
This has been going on for several days now. I'm thinking of going to the emergency room but don't have health insurance so I need to make sure that it is very serious before I go to hospital.
Will take any help that I can get. PLEASE!

Before you think of going to the emergency room, which will cost you a lot....call your doctor first, and try to get in right away for an evaluation. You might just have a pinched nerve in your sciatica that could cause the symptoms, and he might prescribe a muscle relaxer, or anti-inflammatory. Good luck!

I have this due to a fractured spine and bulging disks, I too have Fibromyalgia.

hi, i really think you should go to the doctors, it may be a cyst or something growing, that's pressing on a nerve, i had endometriosis, and i got cysts that pressed on the nerve, then my endometriosis spread under my ovaries and was the nerve endings to my legs and spine and the only treatment was hysterectomy. so please get it checked out. I'm from UK, and I'm glad we don't have to worry about paying for health care, we just take it for granted, and then when, i read something, like whats happening to you it makes me appreciate what we have. good luck

Based on the symptoms you described it sounds like it could be the endometriosis and yes, I would definitely go to the ER to have them double check to see what is going on to be on the safe side.

I think that you should not wait another minute sitting there and go directly to the doctor, considerinf the pain, the time that it's been going and the othet health problems you have. Go! There is nothing to wait for! Go!
