Well it is not.....only Mathematics.
There is Philosophy, there is Religion , Spirituality, ect.
Each of these disciplines tries to explain everything in nature.
I suppose you ask this question just because you have a notion that the answers given by mathematics are the only ones that are true.

Because the abstract form of mathematics is a most agreeable medium for manipulation of ideas. It unitises value instead of diversifying it like other forms of language. So you can push it around and you can be certain where you have put it.
