It is customary for Asian who are living in asia to have their shoes off at home. Thats the way i was brought up and thats the way i have been for the last 40 years or so. Sure I would take my shoes off. In fact in most malaysian houses it is consider impolite NOT to take the shoes off before entering someones home.

No I wouldn't. You can make youself comfortable without taking your shoes off. I would only take them off if I was asked to, as that's only being polite to that person and their home.

Depending on my shoes, but probably yes if they were slip on or easy to take off. Purely cause I dont like wearing shoes, expecially closed shoes.

Probably not unless I had some sort of slip-on shoes on. I wouldn't undo laces or anything.

Actually, I'd take them off at the door after you give me permission to enter the house. Always do it everywhere else...

I wouldn't stop there. I'd be walking around in my drawers. Then I would raid the refrigerator. By the way, where is the remote control?

And then I would ask you for a comfy blanket to curl up on the couch with.
