The train leaving at 00:04 and arriving at 10:00 am to Naples it's an ICN (Intercity night) and reservation is mandatory.
I do suggest to buy the ticket in advance. You've the opportunity to buy the ticket (I always chose ticketless option) on line and avoid any possible surprise for the seats being outsold. By scrolling on the seats descriptions of this link page http://orario.trenitalia.com/b2c/PriceReservationPLUS/travelchoice?stazin=venice&stazout=naples&datag=23&datam=4&dataa=2007&timsh=22&timsm=00&lang=en&nreq=5&channel=tempi&sort=0&npag=1&det=1&solotreno=0
you can chose the type of seat or couchette or bed and then buy which you prefer.
