How can I stop MBS Account Manager knowing when I log on to the internet?

My son signed up to porn site and did not canclel cancel it within the alloted time and now every time I log on to the internet it throws a MBS accout manager bill at me. I don't want anything to do with this site and don't intend to pay them so how do I stop them pestering me?

That's the least of your worries. Your son has invited criminals the world over to help themselves to your Credit Card details and use your PC.

It usually impossible to 'sign up' without a valid credit card === so you need to immediately contact your Credit Card supplier and complain that your card has been 'cloned' (it will be) and put a stop to any debits from organisations outside UK. Then cut up the card and close the account (there is no other way to stop them).

This is VITAL - these sites 'trade' (or leak, or have stolen) Credit card info with each other and before you know it you will be signed up to Child Porn sites (this is NOT a joke = it actually happened = read the article in the latest PC Pro magazine - people in the UK were arrested, had their PC's confiscated and suffered YEARS of prosecution - some are STILL on the Paedophile Register all on the basis of Credit Card debits from a child porn site !)

Almost ALL Porn Sites will send you software to install on your PC (often they pretend it's an 'advanced viewer' or some-such). This is how they take control over your PC. So it is almost certainly infected with root kits, back doors & worms = in other words, the Porn Site now OWNS your PC and can sell it to SPAM merchants etc.

At this very moment your PC may be sending thousands of SPAM emails - and there is a VERY good chance that every keystroke is being logged and forwarded to some criminal gang waiting for you to 'log-in' to your Bank , Building Society, eBay, PayPal etc.

If this happened to my PC I would remove the hard disk and destroy it ... who knows what kiddy pron images might be found on it now ??
