Hi there,
Ur question has made all my white matter in the brain become active....lol.
U have been given the ability to think and ask a question like this. So don't u think its a boon to know and learn about ur curiosity??
I would say that that Human nature though good or bad is always a Boon.
God, who is your consciousness, the one who keeps account of your deeds, resides within you and to have God within u is definitely a Boon.
U tend to do bad things, not because that's ur nature. Its because you have not allowed the God inside u to come out and direct u in the correct path.
By helping urself (i.e.., ur consciousness) to do the right things and avoid thinking of a bad things u will experience God and always be in the right track.
Hope this was helpful.

Human nature is exactly that, nature. As to wether or not it's pliable i think to a certain extent it is. Basic instincts are automatically programmed by evolution and natural selection but because humans have higher reasoning skills we are able to choose which elements of ourselves to cultivate and which to ignore. Due to these higher reasoning skills we also have the ability to recognise right from wrong.
It's when people ignore those higher reasoning signals that we get rapists, murderers and serial killers, all things that only the human race can claim to produce.
So to answer your question, it is neither a boon nor a curse, it just is and yes, it is as pliable as an individual human being decides to make it.

It's a magnificent boon - but a terrible curse when we apply it stupidly. After all, it gives us the senses to wonder at the stars; and the stupidity to fire rockets at them, at great expense which would be better spent on Earth.

Hi.Human nature in my opinion is what makes us human .It is neither a boon or a curse .It is inextricably part of us. Mood swings are part of it which can be pleasant or unpleasant as well as a myriad of idiosyncrasies as to how we react to different situations.
Cheers.

A little bit of both. When you want it to be a boon to you, it'll be your curse.
