Cool question - I have to say I have a few. But just recently it's been Radar Love by Golden Earring (voted No1 driving song by Top Gear!) and Supermassiveblackhole by Muse. They're both great songs to drive very fast too & on doing that my heart races like mad!
When I'm not driving then Hi-ho Silver lining Jeff Beck gets me going from the opening notes - and I end up dancing round the front room like a loon!

Well it's quite difficult to remember the best ones but here's some of the ones that set my heart racing:
Against all odds - Mariah.C
Keep on moving - Soul ll Soul
Linger - The Crows
Beautiful - Mark.D (dance track, can't remember his last name)
Bad dream - Keane
Say say say - High tack
Try again - Aaliyah
Adagio for strings - Barber (composer, if you're wandering who that is)
Sorry about the long list!!!! x

The song that sets me off on a trip down nostalgia lane is SATURDAY NIGHT IN THE BULL RING.
The Bull Ring in Birmingham, words by John Douglas the lyrics by Tony Hatch the tune to MESSING ABOUT ON THE RIVER.
It brings back so many memories of the old days.
I do believe it has sold out of vynil and not on cd.

Aquarius / Let The Sunshine In / The Flesh Failures by The Fifth Dimension. The words and music sounds hauntingly beautiful, references to other planets, sign of the zodiac, and high science. When the moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter allies with Mars, and peace shall rule the planets, this is the dawning of the age of Aquarius, Aquarius , Aquarius. Let the sun-shine in, the sun-shine in.

Born to run simply because it makes me feel so alive and wanna dance about, and off the same album is Jungleland which evokes what the tenements must be like in American cities like New York (or once were ).Its a short version of a West Side Stoy and is really evocotive and powerful, especially when Clarence Clemmons rips in with the sax break.beautiful stuff. Obviously by Bruce Springsteen just in case you didnt know. Buy it try it and listen. Money well spent.
