The wip and the rod.

The team needs unbiased support staff.
The selectors must be independant and unnegotiable with their hearts in the right place.
Indian cricket is in the dark ages.
No one is prepared to change himself or let any change come around.

Times change. Legends retire. People like Sachin and Dravid have a still something left to give to Indian cricket. But everyone should realise that others can give more than they have left to give.

Thank you very much Sachin. Thank You Very much Sehwag.
Thank you Kumble.

No doubt your contributions were great.
But see, there is a queue out there waiting to contribute, wanting a fair chance.
Please show some gentlemanship. And make this hard bit of sacrifice.

Farewell. We Love you. And will always and Your wisdom will be respected through the ages.

I strongly feel that the following steps will help to develop a strong Indian Team:

1) Spot talented youngsters accross the country.

2) Select about 25 or 30 talented youngsters and make
2 teams with these players.

3) Make these teams play each other and also against
the existing team couple of matches.

4) After assessing the performance of these youngsters
in these matches, shortlist 10 to 15 players.

5) Include 2 or 3 players from these shortlisted players
for the team to be selected for each tournament/tour.

6) During the tournament/tour if any player from the
current squad fail to perform consistently, replace
them with the youngsters selected in the team.

By following this process in course of time India can build up a strong team and also best bench strength.

After shameful defeat at WC 2007, the prescription was:
1. Get rid of Coach greg chappel
2. Rahul has proved himself as "worst" captain India ever had. Removed him immediately.
3. Make a balanced team of 40% Senior players & 60% Junior players.

Though BCCI has ousted Greg, but retained the "most failed captain" Rahul Dravid and selected a team without Great Sachin & Sourav.

So we may face another shameful result in Bangladesh.

Actually the main culprit is BCCI.

New international management.

Lets face it, India knows how to play cricket well, but the rest of their game suffers because of politics,,,get rid of that by appointing an international coach and manager and you take at least some of the politics away... then India can get back to winning matches.

We have players bigger than the game circket,no coach in the world can put them in their place,Today all the teams in the world look up to AUSTRALIA,The reason is no player is bigger than circket,
INDIAN seniors cannot be disciplined or thrown out because they are backed by multinationals and politicians.
Keep your fingers crossed for the system to change,My prayers for the INDIAN team are not heard hope yours.
