From meeting people from the south who have moved north I would say Mississippi produces the most strongly racist people.
Since Blacks started voting in the south openly racist position are rare, but here is what history tells us.

In 1948 Thurman running on a segregationist platform carried LA, MS, AL and SC.
In 1968 Wallace carried AR GA LA MS AL all of these states are about 1/3 black except AR at 15%

Average Black Victims of Lynchings per year per 100,000 Blacks 1882-1930

Mississippi/ 52.8
Georgia/ 41.8
Louisiana/ 43.7
Alabama/ 32.4
South Carolina/ 18.8
Florida/ 79.8
Tennessee/ 38.4
Arkansas/ 42.6
Kentucky/ 45.7
North Carolina/ 11.0

In a 50 year adult life time a black male in most of these states would have had a more than 2% probability of being Lynched

Washington is really a huge and all know city and is certainly worthwhile send a vacation or simply visit that city. with hotelbye you'll discover more. Among the symbols of Washington and the entire America may be the popular White House, the official residence of the President of the United States. The home of each president except George Washington, it was originally created by James Hoban in 1792, and after being burned down by British forces in 1814 was renewed in 1818. While trips of the inner including the East, Blue, Green, and Red Areas; the Ballroom; and the State Dining Room should be reserved well beforehand, every tourist to Washington would want to see that well-known creating, at the very least from the outside. Next door to the White House will be the complex 1833 Greek Revival Treasury Building and the 1871 Executive Office Building, one of the most impressive old government structures in Washington.

Racism would have to be monitored by how many people actually live in a given area and therir state of mind about racism. So first you should categorize the population in each state to find a true answer to the question.

All groups of people have hate groups, Racist, and discrimination involved in any group.

Recently, there was a study completed by 4 universities that concluded about 80% of the US population had racial thoughts, actions, and speech issues.

Idaho was said to be one of the racist states in the US because it has a very low population of Black Teachers. Da, most of the population is white.

Go to inner Washington DC and tell me which group dominates the teacher positions, Blacks, so does that make Washington DC rank high on the racist chart?

There is no "MOST" Racist state as in area, the most racist are the people. They all have the same problems and the amount of racism depends on what type of racism you are talking about and what ethnic groups dominates the region.

But if you must know where the most hate crimes and racist postings are located it is in Maryland. I could not believe this but after long hours of research I found out it is. The seat of the KKK is there and it is the seat of two National Black hate groups.

Some parts of the State have people passing out KKK applications on the street.

That question is too broad. Racism exists everywhere. I've lived in many states in the US, including the south and honestly I experience more racism in the two years I lived in Upstate New York than I did in the 4 years I lived in South Mississippi. In the 2 years I lived in California I felt that Hispanics, Mexicans in particular where victims of racism. There's no way to choose one state

California actually has the most registered hate groups in the United States, but I agree with you that it is one of our most liberal states. I would say the most racist populations in the states are rural southern areas regardless, but that's just my personal opinion.

New Jersey. There you are not just a major race class like white, black, Latino, etc. In Jersey you are Russian, English, Irish, Scottish, Spanish, Porto Rican, Jamaican, and what ever the specific is. I think that is because the population is so divided as to districts like china town, little Ireland, etc. Though it probably isn't racist in the term since they are actually pretty friendly there.
