Nowadays you need to be taller than 6 foot to play QB in the NFL.
But you will be taller than 6 foot for sure.
I was around your height till 15 then went on a spurt.
ended up 6foot 2.
Mom was 5'4 dad was 5'8
Try for a college scholorship and study hard just in case the NFL does not pan out.
Good luck to you

Growth spurts depend on so many things that I can't really tell you if you'll get taller or not.
I grew a foot from age 12 to 14. I haven't grown since.
My friend was always a few inches shorter than me, and then he grew to 6'2" at age 16.
Some men continue growing until they are in their early twenties. I stopped at 14. Keep eating your wheaties (unless you're allergic to them) and do everything you can to stay healthy. Stress and poor health can lower your chances at growing properly. Try to stay calm, my brother!
NFL quarterbacks are generally about 6'4" now. If you don't get that tall, you still have a chance, but you'll need to be really, really special if you're under 6'2". Drew Brees is 6'0", and he's been doing a great job. Seneca Wallace, backup on the Seahawks, is about 5'9" (some sites say 5'10") and he does a pretty decent job as a backup.
Honestly, shorter than 6'0" will be a tough sell. But play as hard as you can, and if teams pass on you at the pro level because you aren't tall enough, then they are probably missing out on a great player. Then you go to Canada (like Doug Flutie, he's 5'9") and become the best CFL quarterback, breaking a lot of records! It isn't quite the NFL, but you can make a living doing something you love.

I dont know much about growth spurts but I do know that your still young enough that you could grow to be well above 6ft tall. Most QB's now should be between 6'2" and 6'4" due to the increased height of most OL and DL. Yes, Flutie was a good QB and Brees is a good QB and they are both 6' or shorter but that is 2 QB's out of how many? They are both good at bootlegs and scrambling out of the pocket to find the receiver. If you dont grow to be over 6' tall you will need to be very talented and have good speed and scrambling ability to make it into the pro ranks. It is hard enough to make it into the NFL as it is and being under 6' 2" would make it near impossible. Im not trying to discourage you by any means, just telling it how it is.

First off, there is still a lot of room to grow.
There is no rule that says you must be 6' to play QB in the NFL. Flutie has never been great but very serviceable.
The problem is that lineman are usually 6'3 or taller which makes it difficult for the QB to see over them.

Pleae. Don't worry about it. Where is the written rule that a qb must be 6'0 to play in the NFL? See Doug Flutie.

Your height is important at the pro level but is not the end of world if you dont grow anymore. My uncle did not stop growing till he was 20.Work on your hand steangth the ball gets bigger . If you are unable to grip the ball it will be hard for you to throw it. Work on understanding your passing lanes. Learn how to roll out of the pocket and throw on the run. Since you are shorter you will have a deeper drop so work on accuracy, arm strength and footwork. At your age you have plenty of time to grow. Work on throwing the quick slant routes because at your height that is going to be tough completion. Remeber your grades if you have a scholastic scholarship you can always be a walk-on and tryout for the team...Have fun..

there is no minimum height to be qb but teams shy away from short qb's or convert them to other positions Drew Brees is listed at 6' but i believe he is shorter than that and doug flutie was 5'10" but they are some of the rare ones who actually got a shot

You still have plenty of time to grow to 6 feet, but to be honest you should really be shooting for around 6 3

Well, then it's posible that it will happen in your junior year...You've still got a couple years to go...and you have to play in college to even THINK about the NFL...

you better get a growth spurt, or the only position you'll ever play is left bench.
