Now Sahin, Sorav, Rahul, Sehwag may not able to play in next World Cup. India eliminates from any world cup when batting lineup collaspes. India's better batsmen came from Mumbai and Karnataka. But if you notice to ranaji trophy matches, no player from Karnataka, Mumabi is able to qualify for national Senior or A team. Is this the root cause of India's failure of campain of world cup 2007. Lack of new batsmen from Mumbai and Karnataka.

it is too early to say anything, but they should drop and get rid of so called seniors and induct young and talented cricketers if they want to regain the lost esteem

Indian cricket should not be dependent on only 2 States. There are talented batsmen available in other States too. It is upto BCCI and selectors to spot these young talents and build up a strong team by the time next world cup in 2011 starts.

Yea wc2011 is in the subcontinent. Bookies will come in to play. So India/Pak/SL are assured a place atleast till semis. Never know they could still get knocked out even if the other team under performs deliberately.
Seriously speakin, India should go atleast till semis next time. This time they were unlucky n had 2 bad days with the bat.

India can survive in icc world cup 2011 if the players are selected on merit basis only. Past performences of any player should not be taken into account and the preference sholud be given only to consistant playeres.Players should be made accountable for their errors while playing.

tell them to play ranajit trophy only because there are a lot of good players but no chance because of you need money .first you pay money to get in the team and after you earn money in the advertising.this is called the Indian cricket . one performance in match and you get 4 to 6 ades to do . the new Indian cricket . next world cup is called advertising world cup .

Don't you think that you are thinking ahead of time?
Well, main players used to come from Maharashtra and Karnatka but talent is not region specific. You are born with it and then you hone it. There is a great lot of talented players around but the problem is that the Indian Cricket Management Board is not so broad minded and adaptive to adapt to this new change. Moreover, politics is involved in it so they cannot put in their best of efforts.

I doubt that they will prosper while the "big bucks" are to be made by so called "superstar demi gods".
They must play as a TEAM. Forget the money and have discipline not unwarranted arrogance!
