Simplifying
-6x + -1(-1x + 2)
Reorder the terms:
-6x + -1(2 + -1x)
-6x + (2 * -1 + -1x * -1)
-6x + (-2 + 1x)
Reorder the terms:
-2 + -6x + 1x
Combine like terms: -6x + 1x = -5x
-2 + -5x
= -2 - 5x

First you have to do which is inside ()
-(-x+2)=x-2
because - times - is positive which will become x
-times + is negative which will become -2
so your equation will be
-6x+x-2
now you just have to solve.!!
-6x+x = -5x
you can do nothing about -2 because it has no x on it.
so the answer is
-5x-2
Hope you got what I mean!

First we write:-6x-(-x+2)
Then if there are 2 minus signs beside each other,it means +
So:-6x+x+2
Finally:-5x+2
And that's the answer!

I THINK that the answer is -5x-2
---------------------------------------------------------
first you distribute the negative sign into the numbers in the parentheses which makes it
-6x + x - 2
add like terms and you get
-5x - 2
