Why not ask the restaurant about it? If you explain why you specially like your own juice, and you still buy breakfast regularly there, they might be okay with it (maybe could charge you a dollar or something like that for sort of 'corkage', or you could buy another beverage as well eg. cup of tea). You are right to wonder about it, but it might be okay with the restaurant. Good luck.

Actually...in most states, bringing a beverage container into a restaurant is actually illegal. Once you step through the door of the establishment, the management has an implied, legal responsibility to know exactly what in in EVERY drink being consumed in the restaurant. There's no way for a manager or server to be absolutely positive of what's in your container even if it's sealed. At the place I work, if someone brings a container in, we ask them to remove it. The board of health actually has people spot check restaurants and report what they see going on in food establishments. You don't even know they're there because they certainly don't advertise it. it's their job to be inconspicuous and blend it just like any other customer. They report back if the server incorrectly handled the food...if it was the correct temperature and things such as what is tolerated by the establishment from the customers. Outside containers are a big no-no and the restaurant can be fined!

Restaruants frown upon bringing anythng to eat or drink into their establishment. And quite frankly, it would be extremely rude and insulting to do so anyway. The restaurant is in business to make money...otherwise it would just be a hangout. Not ot mention the huge overhead expenses. So in answer to your question, not only would it be rude but tacky and inappropriate. Most restaruants are very accomodating and Ive known some that will make every attempt to oblige any request you may have. Just remember to tip well!

Yes it is rude and wrong. If you are served something that is not good or fermented, ask for a replacement or a refund.
Try drinking a glass of water with a slice of lemon or orange in it. It is free and you are not insulting the restaurant.

Are you wanting an honest answer, or somebody to tell you Its OK?
It may be classed as rude. If you are a regular at this place, maybe you could talk to the staff and ask If they could get some nice orange juice In.

Personally I think it would be rude...I used to work at a Pizza Parlor and people would bring in all different kinds of toppings to put on their pizza. I would have to turn their products away, even if they were fresh, canned, or whatever. Outside products bring unknown germs into a restaurant and could lead to someone getting really sick i.e. law suit... Its just better that you have a glass of something else so you dont get yourself or others hurt

Not rude, but strange. If you were smuggling in some fresh-squeezed, organic juice I would agree with you more. Maybe you should just get over yourself a little and have a coffee.

Being a Casual restraunt it probably wouldn't be all that rude, but i would suggest just doing what makes you feel comfortable. there is no point paying for juice you don't like.

No, for me it is alright, unless it is available on the store. Besides if you are a regular costumer they let you, as long as you take your order and may be next time you can find your preferred orange juice on their menu. (Happy eating can you share me your favorite orange juice?. HEHEHE)

NO! unless it is a very upscale breakfast restaurant (I doubt it). I've done that before, where I take my drink to a restaurant because I don't drink carbonated drinks or sweetened drinks. In fact tomorrow I'm taking my own tea bag to our Sunday breakfast.
