They did not do well enough to take India to super8.
When they regain their form and confidence can very well return to the team.

May be BCCI want to try out some of the youngsters during the Bangladesh Tour as they can ill afford to do experimentation against strong teams. May be also BCCI want to send out a message to all the players that no one should take their place in the Indian Team for granted and they should perform well to be in the team.

WE do not want any improvement of "Team India". So we selected "most failed" Rahul Dravid as Captain and Great like Sourav & Sachin has been dropped (Rested?).
This nothing but politics of BCCI and Deavid, the spineless personality, accepted this worst decision.
So, be ready for another shame ful result under captaincy of Rahul "failed" Dravid.

It is right that they have excluded Sachin from one day team but Ganguly should have been retained as he has performed reasonably well in the past matches

Selector says they have given rest, and to give more exposure to young players. Buy I am not satisfied by their answer. Real fact may be exposed shortly. Or may be beginning of end to Sachin. Let us wait and see. Selectors are not transparent, hence we feel, something fishy.
